Most of my boards are approximately 95% Upstate NY hardwood (Walnut, Maple, Cherry, Ash, and Hemlock) with the remaining wood being exotics from Central America. All my sources follow responsible harvesting practices. In fact, much of my wood comes from trees felled by wind storms here in the Finger Lakes. My adhesive is water based and water proof. It’s a wonder of science that is stronger than the wood itself but requires 24 hours to fully cure. This stretches the time necessary to make a board to 4 to 5 days – but it’s worth it.

A glue-up before it is sliced and rearranged into an end grain board.
